Not all old tattoos done by another artist can be fixed or covered. If your old tattoos are thick and dark then you are not a good candidate for a coverup or correction.<\/p>\n

Your old tattoos need to be 80% or lighter in color and thin in shape in order to create a shape that will incorporate the existing tattoo but the average tattoo coverup usually requires three or more sessions (6-12 weeks apart) and more work than creating a new shape on virgin brows or skin. Due to the amount of time and work needed to repair a bad permanent makeup tattoo, the cost, and the number of sessions can not be predetermined, and 100% result cannot be guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Starting price for a tattoo cover-up is $650. Touch-up appointments are not included and vary per time frame of when clients come back for a touch-up.<\/p>\n

There are many factors that are to be taken into consideration besides having an existing old tattoo. Scar tissue can make it difficult to deposit the ink. Skin type, age, overall health, skincare products, pre & after instructions, drinking coffee or alcohol, bleeding during the procedure, taking certain medications and vitamins can affect how your skin accepts the pigment. This is why it is important to know more than one touch-up may be needed.<\/p>\n

After you send your pictures, please allow me 48 – 72 hours to review your provided photos. I’ll follow up to advise whether I’m able to work over your existing tattoo or not.<\/p>\n

Typically, it’s best to schedule your first touch-up about 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment to keep those brows looking fresh. Following that, I recommend an annual touch-up every 1-1.5 years to maintain their shape and color vibrancy.\n\t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\u00a0

PLEASE READ: \u00a0If it has been 2 years or more since your last touch-up service with me, you’ll need to book a fresh set of brows, whether that’s ombre powdered brows or microshading. This applies if you’ve received your initial appointment and haven’t returned for a touch-up, or if you’ve waited 12 months or more to schedule again.\u00a0The “Annual”<\/strong> touch-up is for clients who have had their initial appointment and first touch-up session.
